About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hazard assessments and jobsite inspections
- Develop and implement site-specific safety programs
- Conduct safety training, orientations, and incident investigations
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations
- Report monthly safety performance metrics to leadership
- Serve as liaison with OSHA and other regulatory agencies
- Oversee third-party safety consultants and subcontractor compliance
- 7–10 years of direct safety experience in construction (residential, multifamily, mixed-use, commercial)
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or related field preferred
- CSP, ASP, or CHST certification required
- OSHA 510 Certification within the last 24 months
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified (Red Cross)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage safety operations across 5–7 active ground-up projects
About the Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager
to lead the development and enforcement of safety protocols across multiple high-end residential and mixed-use construction projects (200–600 units). The Safety Manager will oversee a team of safety professionals and collaborate directly with Senior PMs and company leadership to ensure all site operations meet the highest safety standards.
