About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submittal Review: Review and manage project submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Schedule Inspections & permitting: Coordinate and schedule necessary inspections & obtain permits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Takeoffs: Perform material takeoffs to determine quantities needed for projects.
  • Job Setup: Assist in setting up new jobs, including administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Teams/Admin/Folder Files Setup/logs: Organize and maintain project files and folders in Teams and other administrative systems, maintain project logs, including daily reports and other documentation.
  • Locates: Coordinate and manage utility locates to ensure safe project execution.
  • Closeouts: Assist in project closeout procedures, ensuring all documentation and final inspections are completed, distributed as-builts as needed.
  • Follow Instructions of PM: Work closely with the Project Manager to follow instructions and support project goals.
  • Read Drawings/Blueprints: Interpret and understand project drawings and blueprints.
  • Panel Schedules: Prepare and distribute accurate panel schedules.
  • Send Change Orders (C/Os): Prepare and send change orders to relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO): Issue purchase orders for materials and services.
  • Job Cost Report Review: Assist in reviewing job cost reports to monitor project budgets and expenditures.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of trade experience in the electrical industry and will assist with various project management tasks to ensure the successful completion of electrical projects. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively with the project team.
  • Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
