About the Role

Prepare detailed estimates for electrical construction projects, including material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor bids.
Collaborate with design teams to develop cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements.
Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and proposals.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
Provide support to project managers during the construction phase.

About the Candidate

Proven track record of accurately estimating complex electrical projects, ranging from commercial to light industrial, with a minimum project value of $2 million.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Experience with project estimating, design review, and quality control processes.
Proven ability to work effectively on-site, assessing project requirements and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
Familiarity with the design-build process and the ability to collaborate with design teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
Proficiency in AcuBid, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
