Key Responsibilities:

• Design Management:

  • Oversee and manage the design process for façade, cladding, and curtain walling projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and fire remediation requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align design specifications with project goals.

• Project Leadership:

  • Manage design timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
  • Review and approve design documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Address design challenges by implementing practical and innovative solutions.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams for design matters.
  • Provide clear communication to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project vision and goals.
  • Attend project meetings, site visits, and design reviews to ensure consistent progress.

• Compliance and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on advancements in cladding technologies and fire remediation standards.
  • Ensure all design outputs meet or exceed regulatory requirements, including fire safety protocols.
  • Promote sustainability and innovation in the design process.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in cladding design, with desirable experience in fire remediation projects.
  • Background in managing complex, high-value construction projects in occupied or live site environments is a plus.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of cladding materials, systems, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with façade fire performance regulations and fire remediation protocols.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Education and Software:

  • A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
