Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using Planswift or similar software.

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate project scope and pricing.

• Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

• Engage in client and subcontractor communications as needed to clarify scope and pricing.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of estimates and bid submissions.

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction estimating is required.

• Proficiency with on-screen takeoff software (Planswift preferred).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
