We are a small company based in Macclesfield carrying out industrial and commercial roofing & cladding contracts in the NW and nationwide. We work for a fairly small number of clients with a lot of repeat business on roofing projects that range from £10k to £750k. As we enter our tenth year of trading we require additional management support to maintain our service levels and continue to expand our business. We are seeking an experienced roofing contract manager/estimator responsible for pricing, surveying, securing and overseeing mainly steel roofing & cladding industrial & commercial contracts, some flat roofing also would be good, generally in the north west area. On site experience previously would be an asset. 

• Approximately 2-3 years experience
• Estimate jobs to a certain value, manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively
• Produce RAMS, 
• Oversee labour and project team members and providing guidance as needed
• Utilise tools to track project progress - familiar with reading a programme
• Planning ahead of schedule to ensure deliveries of materials are on site in time for planned project phases as and when areas are released.
• Conduct and attend regular meetings to review project status and address any issues promptly

• Proven experience in construction management role or site supervision
• Current CSCS card
• Knowledge of metal roofing and cladding systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with client at all levels
• IT Literate, ability to prepare documents. 
• Experience in cost control and monitoring project expenses
• Ability to visit sites, carry out surveys and measures for works
• Non essential but helpful: IPAF, SMSTS, First aid

This is an in person position although attendance at the office every day not required, some days will be on site/surveys, we are looking for a long term member of staff with a potential to become a director in the future and integral to the business.
