We are seeking a talented and motivated Industrial Roofing Designer to join our client's in-house design team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a successful and growing company that is at the forefront of the industry. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from inception through to completion, utilizing your design skills and technical knowledge.

• Produce detailed drawings and specifications for industrial roofing and cladding systems, including composite panels, built-up systems, standing seam, and single-ply membranes.

• Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.

• Utilize CAD software to create accurate and efficient designs.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.

• Assist with project costing and material selection.

• Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and new products.

• Collaborate with the in-house safety manager to ensure designs meet safety standards.

• Proven experience in designing industrial roofing and cladding systems.

• Strong understanding of different roofing and cladding materials and systems.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).

• Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.  

• Ideally, a relevant qualification in a construction-related field.
