About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing interior fit-out division. The successful candidate will take ownership of key projects, managing costs, contracts, and client relationships to deliver high-quality interior fit-out solutions on time and within budget.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team working on prestigious interior design and fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial control throughout the lifecycle of each project.

• Tendering & Procurement: Prepare tender documentation, evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, and manage procurement processes.

• Valuations & Variations: Conduct valuations, prepare payment applications, and manage variations to maximize profitability.

• Contract Administration: Administer contracts in compliance with JCT and other relevant agreements.

• Reporting: Provide regular financial updates, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts to stakeholders.

• Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • Proven track record in quantity surveying within the interior fit-out sector or a similar construction field.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of fit-out methodologies, costs, and materials.

  • Proficient in preparing cost plans, tenders, and valuations.

  • Familiarity with JCT contracts and related legal frameworks.

• Software Proficiency:

  • Experience using QS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
