My client are looking to expand their Design Team due to an increased order book.

Established in 1972, my client is a leading envelope contractor.

Based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, my client, specialises in Industrial Roofing, Wall Cladding and Rainscreen Cladding Systems. The Company’s success is attributed to its exceptional service, skilled staff, adaptability to new products and our collaborative approach.

My client is a Family, and the large majority of our Staff have been working for the company for +10/20 years. This is due to the office environment, our social cultures and teamwork mentality.

This is a full time role for a Draughtsman based at our Head Office in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

The candidate will be responsible for creating Technical scale drawings, General Arrangements, Fabrication Schedules, and other design related tasks to produce accurate & detailed drawings.

The role will involve working closely with the Architectural & Client Construction team to help deliver successful projects.

• Knowledge of Building Construction & Architecture
• Component User in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel
• Proficiency in Autodesk Autocad.
• Attention to detail & accuracy in drawing.
• Experience in Roof & Wall Twin Skin Systems
• Experience in Roof & Wall Composite Systems
• Experience in Single Ply, Hot Melt, Felt Systems
• Experience in Rainscreen & Supportwork Systems
• Ability in taking off materials from approved design & creating schedules.
• Collaborating with Architectural & Client Construction team via onsite and Online Meetings.
• Achieving Key Project Programme Target date
• Knowledge of BIM Revit & 3d Design (not Necessary but beneficial).
