My client are a full service, turnkey mechanical engineering and contracting firm who offer an exceptional service to their clients across the states.

They have an extensive amount of experience in all aspects of mechanical systems; budgeting, design, installation and service, allowing them to partner with the entire construction team to minimize hassles and simplify the construction process.
Their clients depend on their abilities to design, price and install mechanical systems for their projects that provide their Clients with the most appropriate system for their facility. 

About the Role

Scope of Work -    The HVAC Service Technician will be made to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections, cleaning, and filter replacements. They will also be made to run startup equipment on mechanical systems such as VRV, VRF, AHU's, Heating and Cooling towers and chiller mechanics. 

Role:  HVAC Service Technician 
Salary:  $42 p/h DOE + Truck or $600 Allowance 
Projects:  Medical offices, Studios, Factories
Location:  Atlanta

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective repairs.

  • Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, and controls.

  • Install and commission new HVAC equipment.

  • Conduct performance testing and ensure systems are operating efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service.

About the Candidate

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a HVAC technical program preferred.

  • 6 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician in commercial settings.

  • Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • EPA Section 608 Technician Certification

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.  

  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
