About the Client

I am currently working with a well established construction management firm with a strong presence throughout the mid-atlantic on high value Multi-Family and Commercial projects.

They are currently looking for someone in the Raleigh area  to successfully oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

About the Role

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred

  • 3+ years of Construction Superintendent experience

  • 4+ years of leadership experience

  • Experience with projects over $15M

  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, building codes, and safety regulations

  • Strong technical skills, including blueprint reading, estimating, and scheduling

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain quality standards

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with OSHA inspections

  • Ability to perform quality control inspections for various trades

  • Proficiency in assessing project progress and financial performance

About the Candidate

  • Financial Management: Manages project budget, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and accelerates project timelines.

  • Client Relations: Manages expectations, builds relationships with clients (BGE, Comcast, etc.), and city inspectors.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develops recovery schedules, updates master schedules, and prepares progress reports.

  • Quality Assurance: Creates and manages quality control checklists, reviews submittals and shop drawings, and oversees punch list completion.

  • Team Management: Manages and mentors Assistant Superintendents and Project Engineers, conducts performance reviews, and coordinates 3rd party inspections.

  • Document Management: Prepares and maintains project documentation, including meeting minutes, RFIs, incident reports, and photo logs.

  • Safety Management: Enforces safety policies, conducts safety orientations and inspections, and removes safety violators from the site.
