About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all drylining activities on site.
Ensure project deadlines and milestones are met, while adhering to the project's specifications and scope.
Monitor the progress of the work and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project objectives.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring efficient and effective performance.

Conduct regular site meetings to communicate tasks, goals, and expectations to the team.

Provide training and guidance to team members as required.

Health & Safety:

Ensure all drylining activities comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and risk assessments.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to PPE and safety protocols.

Quality Control:

Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring workmanship and materials used on site.

Address and resolve any issues related to quality, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client requirements.

Budget & Resources Management:

Manage budgets, resources, and materials to avoid wastage and maximize cost-efficiency.

Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Communication & Coordination:

Act as the main point of contact between the site team, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and senior management.

Ensure any design or specification changes are communicated and implemented effectively.

About the Candidate

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically in drylining projects.
Worked on residential projects upwards of 150 units
Comprehensive knowledge of drylining techniques, materials, and construction methods.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
