About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:

    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all drylining activities on site.
    • Ensure project deadlines and milestones are met, while adhering to the project's specifications and scope.
    • Monitor the progress of the work and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
    • Conduct regular site meetings to communicate tasks, goals, and expectations to the team.
    • Provide training and guidance to team members as required.
    • Health & Safety:

      • Ensure all drylining activities comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and risk assessments.
      • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
      • Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to PPE and safety protocols.
      • Quality Control:

        • Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring workmanship and materials used on site.
        • Address and resolve any issues related to quality, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client requirements.
        • Budget & Resources Management:

          • Manage budgets, resources, and materials to avoid wastage and maximize cost-efficiency.
          • Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
          • Communication & Coordination:

            • Act as the main point of contact between the site team, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
            • Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and senior management.
            • Ensure any design or specification changes are communicated and implemented effectively.
            • About the Candidate

              Key Requirements

              • Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically in drylining projects.
              • Worked on residential projects upwards of 150 units 
              • Comprehensive knowledge of drylining techniques, materials, and construction methods.
              • Strong leadership and team management skills.
              • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
              • Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
              • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
              • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
              • Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
