About the Role

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of drywall systems, metal framing, and finishing techniques.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate crews and ensure high performance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to job site safety.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

About the Candidate

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all drywall installation activities, including framing, hanging, taping, and finishing.
Supervise and coordinate daily field operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient material procurement and workflow.
Conduct quality control inspections to maintain the company’s high standards of craftsmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
Train and mentor crew members, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
Monitor job progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project expectations are met.
