I am working with a valued client, a leading name in the construction sector, specializing in drylining solutions for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. They are looking to bring a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in drylining into their team. About the Role

  • Cost Management: Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates and budgets tailored to drylining works.
  • Tender & Procurement Management: Lead tender processes, evaluate subcontractor bids, and negotiate contracts specific to drylining.
  • Contract Oversight: Administer contracts, manage payment applications, and oversee financial adjustments and variations.
  • Valuations: Carry out interim valuations and finalize accounts for drylining projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks in drylining works and develop financial strategies to mitigate these effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with site teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project financials align with objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

About the Candidate

  • Experience: My client is looking for someone with substantial experience in the construction industry, specifically within drylining projects.

  • Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar discipline is required.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of drylining materials, methods, and contracts, coupled with proficiency in cost management tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with a wide range of stakeholders.
