Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage all electrical aspects of construction projects in the Tampa area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement detailed project plans for electrical installations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Management:
Enforce all company and OSHA safety regulations on the job site. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Quality Control:
Ensure all electrical work is performed to the highest standards of quality and complies with all applicable codes and regulations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct any deficiencies.
- Subcontractor Management:
Coordinate and manage the work of electrical subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Material Management:
Oversee the procurement and delivery of electrical materials, ensuring they are available when needed and properly stored. Manage inventory and minimize waste.
- Client Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise on the job site.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
- Budget Control:
Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures are within budget. Identify and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
